And The Winner Is…

First, thank you to everyone who participated in the DFP survey. We really appreciate the time you took to send us your comments. We’ve had a lot of fun reading through them and have already got some great ideas for DFP. THANK YOU! :)

Sorry that this is a little later than we originally planned (Note to self: Fridays are not the best day to end a competition! ;)

Anyway, we can now announce the randomly selected winner for the $100 AllCustomContent.com credits…

AND THE WINNER IS… Rick Levine (—–@yahoo.com)
————————————————–

Congratulations Rick Levine! Simply head over to our DFP helpdesk and submit your claim for the $100 prize along with your name and email address used when submitting the DFP survey.

Please try to send in your claim before the end of October Rick otherwise we’ll need to pass the prize on to another winner.

Of course, if you haven’t won please don’t be too disheartened as we will very likely have other competitions in the future. :)

Also, just because this survey is now closed please don’t feel like we are not looking for your feedback anymore. If you have an idea or something you’d like to share with us about DFP please send us your comments via our helpdesk.

Is DFP Not Going To Be Free Anymore?
————————————————–

We’d also like to address an issue that was raised by a few DFP users…

The survey appeared to give the impression to some users that we may be starting to charge for DFP. Please accept my apologies for this confusion and rest assured this is not going to happen. We will not go back on our word. DFP will remain free.

However, some of the requested upgrades are quite major and if we do implement them we may have to go the route of having two versions. A cut down free version paid for with banners, and a more complex version that is not free but has no banners. Everything is still up in the air but this is a likely route.

A Little Something For Everyone… :)

On a side note, we thought it would be nice to not leave you empty handed, after all there is only one prize to give away.

Well, my brother Steve has recently been reading an VERY good no-nonsense SEO book that is completely free. This ebook is as good if not better than most SEO books we have paid for in the past. Whether you are beginner or advanced in SEO, this book (and the author behind it) is worth checking out.

The book is called ‘SEO Fast Start’ and is written by Dan Thies. According to his site he has been writing about, teaching, and practicing search engine optimization for over 10 years. Maybe I’ve been living under a rock but I had not heard of him until now. Well I’m extremely glad I’ve finally found his site because he makes more sense and appears far less full of BS than most of the other SEO ‘experts’ out there. This guy is a real breath of fresh air.

His free ebook does require your name and email, but his emails are just as informative as his ebook and you don’t get bombarded with endless launch emails. Here’s the link if your interested:

Thanks again to everyone that participated in the survey and to everyone for being part of DFP.

We really appreciate it and will try our best to listen to your needs and turn DupeFree Pro in to the ultimate duplicate content tool based on your needs and wishes.

Best regards,
Mike
