Q2:
When I try to install DupeFree Pro I get the system error message: “The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation”

A2:
This error message may be appearing because your Windows login account may have limited permissions and so therefore you are unable to run the program. This is particularly likely if you are using a shared computer that is managed on a network by an administrator.

Your best course of action is to ask your administrator to either give your login account the rights to install this type of software (*.msi files) or to install it for you on the computer you wish to use.

If you still get this error message you can view the Microsoft support page for this error here.

Q3:
My firewall/anti-virus software is alerting me that DupeFree Pro is trying to connect to the internet. Is it safe to allow DupeFree Pro?

A3:
Yes, DupeFree Pro is totally safe. You should allow DupeFree Pro because it’s harmless and simply needs to connect to the internet in order to function properly - especially if you want to use the online duplicate content function.

What’s happening is your firewall/anti-virus software is simply picking up that DupeFree Pro calls home to dupefreepro.com to pick up small jpeg banner images which display in DupeFree Pro.

The only information DupeFree Pro sends to dupefreepro.com are the number of impressions and clicks these ads get. No personal information is stored, sent or retrieved.

Q4:
Why are there banner ads in DupeFree Pro and who controls them?

A4:
The banner ads are simply a means for us to be able to give DupeFree Pro away for free. In order for us to continue to grow DupeFree Pro we need to be able to fund all the extra programming work and time we spend on the software.

These ads are controlled by us only and are very non-intrusive. No nasty pop-ups or anything. In fact we only show ads for very high quality resources or products that we use and recommend ourselves. They are more like recommendations than ads.

Once there are enough DupeFree Pro users we are hoping to be able to start using our collective buying power to offer you exclusive product discounts via the banner ads - so keep an eye on them! ;)

Q5:
How do I get DupeFree Pro to spin or re-write articles?

A5:
DupeFree Pro is not a content spinner and doesn’t automatically create a rewritten version of an article for you.

There are content spinners available online that do this but we strongly recommend staying clear of them. They generally create unreadable worthless articles.

DupeFree Pro is designed to help you create quality content sites and from our experience the only way to rewrite/spin articles and retain quality is to do it yourself or pay a writer to do it. You can use DupeFree Pro to compare your manually rewritten/spun articles. The time saved in comparing them with DupeFree Pro is huge.

Q6:
When I try to install DupeFree Pro I get the error message “The cabinet file ” is corrupt”

A6:
This error usually means the installation file has downloaded incomplete or incorrectly in some way. A corrupt downloaded file can often be due to a few causing factors such as…

1 - a problem with the Internet connection when downloading,
2 - a bad sector on the destination hard drive,
3 - or simply dupefreepro.com may have been experiencing very high traffic when you downloaded the file.

The best thing to try first is simply delete the file and download the DupeFree Pro installation file again. You can download DupeFree Pro again by clicking on the download link in your email.

Also try saving the file to a different location on your computer.

If the download remains corrupt you should try downloading the file on a different computer, if you have access to one.
