The First Ever Internet Marketing Magazine? (Plus Get The First Two Issues FREE!)
Could this really be the first ever Internet Marketing magazine to be published?
Either way it seems it will probably be a good read. It is edited By Rick Butts so there is definitely potential for some good content.
At the moment you can register to receive the first two issues for free here and without obligation.
Normally with free magazine trials you have to pay upfront and then go out of your way to cancel before they charge you for a membership automatically at the end of your free trial. Online Marketing Monthly have gone a wiser route of just letting you have the first two issues for just your name and address (they’ve got to send them somewhere!) with no credit card or payment details required. 
I highly recommend jumping on this before the offer expires. The first Issue is due on the 1st of July 2007 so go get your free issues as soon as you can.
Rick says the magazine has accrued 10,000+ subscribers so it’s already doing pretty well. If the magazine gains enough popularity and produces enough weight it could become an essential subscription for us IMers.
I think I read someone on the site that it is only going to cost something like $49 for a years subscription. Now that strikes me as pretty cheap.
Like most (if not all) magazines the revenue model appears to be from selling advertising space. On the thank you page after you signup for your free issues there are details of the costs for advertising in Online Marketing Monthly:
Full page: $5000
Half page: $2750
1/4 page: $1500
This could be a great new advertising opportunity for Internet Marketing product owners.
I for one am definitely interested in a print magazine for IM. Most of the time I’m reading and learning off a laptop screen for hours a day. I’m sure you can relate to how tired this makes you feel so the more time I can spend away from a screen when reading about IM the better.
