Basic Article Functions

This section covers the more general and simple functions in DupeFree Pro.

Word, sentence and paragraph counts -
Below each window pane there are three boxes as shown below:

As you type, copy and paste text or import documents these counts will auto adjust to give you the exact number of words, sentences and paragraphs the software has found throughout the entire text in a window pane.

'Clear' Button
- Underneath each window pane is a 'Clear' button. When clicked this empties the window pane above and zero's the word, sentence and paragraph counts. Use this button the start afresh in a window pane.

'Clear Highlighting' Button - Two buttons entitled 'Clear Highlighting' can be found just below each window pane. These buttons are for use after text has become color highlighted by the 'Calculate Keyword Density' function or the 'Compare' button function. These two functions result in text becoming highlighted with different colors (see keyword density and duplicate content sections for more details on these functions). Should you find that you need to clear this colored highlighting from the text in a window pane simply click the 'Clear Highlighting' button below the associated window pane.

An example of when you may need to do this is when copying text from a window pane to be pasted in to an external application because the colored highlighting will carry with the copied text if it is not cleared.

This concludes the instructions on the more basic DupeFree Pro functions.
