"As a newbie trying PLR for the 1st time, I was really knocked out by DupeFree Pro.
Using DupeFree Pro with PLR articles, I saw my very 1st PLR site http://stylishcoffees.com rocket to #1 on Google in only 3 days!!
But it was the following week, when I came to do my 1st "commercial" site http://QuitSmokingAce.com that I REALLY saw how powerful DupeFree Pro is.
I had re-written every PLR article on that site from beginning to end, crammed with original additional material - I'm a former smoker myself - so I only ran DupeFree Pro 'just in case'.
To my amazement, in the first article I checked, there were 6 paragraphs where identical sentences showed up on from 9 to 17 Adsense sites, despite my total re-write! Without Dupefree I might have been penalised for duplicate content anyway. But it only took me 7 minutes to rewrite those specific sentences, and then I knew that I was safe..."
It has been suggested by many that the search engines operate duplicate content filters in their algorithms which prevent duplicate results from showing up in their result pages (SERPs). The existence of these 'duplicate content filters' is frequently raised; getting discounted by some and panicked over by others. It has even been purported that your site gets penalized if it is found to contain duplicate content.
Now, we are NOT going to claim the case either way - that would be wrong. Even if we were SEO experts or 'gurus' (which we are not) we would simply be lying to you if we were pushing an opinion as 'fact'. Be careful who you listen to on this because at the end of the day the Search Engines know better than to let any of us in on what they are doing. They keep their cards very close to their chest (and rightly so) which means nobody outside the core group of search engine rocket scientists can tell you what is ACTUALLY going on... In reality all you can do is use a bit of common sense combined with pulling together any evidence you can find to help second guess what the SE's are likely to be doing.
We are just two normal everyday internet marketers trying to carve out a piece of the internet real estate pie like everyone else, but, we do also firmly believe that duplicate content is a very real and increasingly turbulent issue requiring more attention as we move in to the future.
So if the existence of a duplicate content filter or penalty is so difficult to ascertain how come are we so sure about it?
To answer that you need to start at the beginning by asking yourself...
Why Should The Search Engines Worry About
Duplicate Content In The First Place?
The answer is fairly simple and obvious: User experience. The Search Engines do not want to show the same content repeatedly for the same search query.
Protecting their most important asset: repeat traffic, is CRITICAL to their survival. Without the traffic they receive they would be dead in the water. That is why the Search Engines have to maintain the most accurate and useful search results possible. And those search results must be protected at all costs. As far as they are concerned if that means taking out a few websites containing similar content so be it. Sounds harsh but put yourself in the Search Engines shoes, if you were running a search engine this is exactly what you would be doing, it just makes sense.
However, this is still speculation. What we need is proof, some sort of evidence that tells us unequivocally that the Search Engines are definitely working to fight duplicate content.
Until fairly recently there hasn't been all that much hard evidence of the Search Engines acknowledging duplicate content as a potential issue. After all we are still fairly early on in the days of active duplicate content detection in the SE algorithms - you can currently still rank well in the SERPs with duplicate content. But take our word for it, this is about to change and there is now concrete evidence that the future of duplicate content is being paved by the Search Engines right now.
And The Evidence Is Strong And Plentiful...
Evidence Item 1: Google's software engineer Matt Cutts' video blogs answering the question: 'When does Google detect duplicate content, and how wide is the range?'
The video below should start at the relevant point: 1:07 - you only need to watch to 2:30.
Below is a partial transcript of the relevant points in Matt Cutts' video blog:
(Timestamp: 1:07)
Q: “When does Google detect duplicate content, and within which range will duplicate be duplicate?”
A: “Good question. That’s not a simple answer... the short answer is, we do a lot of duplicate content detection. It’s not like there’s one stage where we say, OK, right here is where we detect the duplicates. Rather, it’s all the way from the crawl, through the indexing, through the scoring, until finally just milliseconds before you answer things.
And there are different types of duplicate content. There’s certainly exact duplicate detection. So if one page looks exactly the same as another page, that can be quite helpful, but at the same time it’s not the case that pages are always exactly the same. And so we also detect near duplicates, and we use a lot of sophisticated logic to do that.
In general, if you think you might be having problems, your best guess is probably to make sure your pages are quite different from each other, because we do do a lot of different duplicate detection... to crawl less, and to provide better results and more diversity.”
Evidence Item 2: Google's Matt Cutts' advice on avoiding duplicate content during a site review session at the 2006 WebmasterWorld PubCon in Las Vegas.
Matt Cutts summed up the PubCon site review session on his blog of which the relevant section is quoted below:
“The wrong thing to do is to try to add a few extra sentences or to scramble a few words or bullet points trying to avoid duplicate content detection. If I can spot duplicate content in a minute with a search, Google has time to do more in-depth duplicate detection in its index.”
Evidence Item 3: Tim Converse - A Yahoo! engineering manager & content classification expert talks about duplicate content types and how Yahoo! looks to handle them:
Tim Converse spoke at the 2006 WebmasterWorld PubCon covering the different types of duplicate content and what they mean to search results. The following extracts are taken from a post at the Search Engine Roundtable which details Tim Converse's PubCon presentation...
“Why do search engines care about duplication? User experience, and they don't want to show the same content over and over again for the same query.”
“Where does Yahoo! get rid of dupes? At every point in the pipeline, including crawl time, index time, and query time, they prefer to remove dupes at the time of the query.”
“Dodgy duplication includes replicating content over multiple domains unnecessarily, "aggregation" of content found elsewhere on the web,"identical content repeated with minimal value. Others include scraper spammers, weaving/stitching (mix and match content), bulk cross domain apps, bulk dupe with small changes. How you can help Yahoo with this issue is by avoiding bulk dupe of your content over multiple domains, use the robots.txt to block bots, avoid accidental proliferation of dupe content (session IDs, 404s, etc.), avoid dupe of sites across many domains and when importing content from elsewhere ask do you own it and are you adding value.”
Evidence Item 4: WebProNews Video Interview with Vanessa Fox, Product Manager at Google Webmaster Central and Rand Fishkin, CEO & Co-Founder of SEOmoz.org:
The bulk of this video interview covers Google Webmaster Tools (a.k.a Sitemaps) but they briefly talk about the duplicate content issue (scan to video timestamp 14:50 for the relevant info)...
If you have trouble viewing the video above the relevant sections have been transcribed for you below:
(Timestamp: 16:14) Rand Fishkin:
“Duplicate content filter, is that the same or different from a duplicate content penalty?”
(Timestamp: 14:50) Vanessa Fox:
“What is going to happen is some kind of filtering. Because in the search results we want to show relevant useful results, and showing ten URLs that all go to the same page is not probably the best experience for users, what we are going to do is we’re going to index one of those pages… ”
Evidence Item 5: Google & MSN patents regarding duplicate content:
A number of patents have been filed by the major Search Engines which clearly indicates they are tackling the duplicate content issue head-on.
1). The following extract is from one of the granted Google patents on duplicates, 'Detecting duplicate and near-duplicate files'...
“Improved duplicate and near-duplicate detection techniques may assign a number of fingerprints to a given document by (i) extracting parts from the document, (ii) assigning the extracted parts to one or more of a predetermined number of lists, and (iii) generating a fingerprint from each of the populated lists. Two documents may be considered to be near-duplicates if any one of their fingerprints match.”
2). Another patent from Google describes a process for handling duplicates and is fundamental as it details a system for looking at snippets instead of pages - (May the days of just changing a few words or adding a couple extra lines to duplicate content be over?): 'Detecting query-specific duplicate documents'...
“An improved duplicate detection technique that uses query-relevant information to limit the portion(s) of documents to be compared for similarity is described. Before comparing two documents for similarity, the content of these documents may be condensed based on the query. In one embodiment, query-relevant information or text (also referred to as "snippets") is extracted from the documents and only the extracted snippets, rather than the entire documents, are compared for purposes of determining similarity.”
3). This next extract is from a Microsoft patent application involving collapsing equivalent results for search results pages and discusses some of the signals that may be used to determine which results to show, and which to filter.
All Search Engine's want to avoid duplicative results filling up the top spots on search results pages. This patent application provides some insight into what search engines consider when choosing which pages to show, and which to hide. 'System and method for optimizing search results through equivalent results collapsing'...
“A system and method are provided for optimizing a set of search results typically produced in response to a query. The method may include detecting whether two or more results access equivalent content and selecting a single user-preferred result from the two or more results that access equivalent content. The method may additionally include creating a set of search results for display to a user, the set of search results including the single user-preferred result and excluding any other result that accesses the equivalent content. The system may include a duplication detection mechanism for detecting any results that access equivalent content and a user-preferred result selection mechanism for selecting one of the results that accesses the equivalent content as a user-preferred result.”
4). Another patent application from Microsoft focuses upon the actual filtering aspect of duplication, as opposed to the detection part: 'Method for duplicate detection and suppression'...
“...requiring l matching supersamples in order to conclude that the two objects are sufficiently similar, the value of l being greater than the corresponding value required in the previous method. One application of the invention is in association with a web search engine query service to determine clusters of query results that are near-duplicate documents.”
Evidence Item 6: WebProNews Video Interview with Andy Steggles, CEO of SitePRTracker.com and Mike McDonald of WebProNews.com:
This video interview covers PR (Page Rank) but they quickly get on to the duplicate content issue during their discussion (scan to video timestamp 3:03 for the relevant info)...
The relevant interview sections have been transcribed below:
(Timestamp: 3:03)
Andy Steggles:
“I actually rewrote about a hundred property listings because of the duplicate content issue. The people that posted the listings had posted them elsewhere on different sites. So I rewrote a hundred just as a test and then monitored those hundred and guess what? .. the page rank went up to 4 from 0 for each one of them; more or less 3 or 4, something like that. So its a really good indication. It means Google has certainly acknowledged that ‘hey hang on you’ve got content on here now that isn’t duplicated all over the web and therefore we’re going to give it more value’.”
Mike McDonald:
“So do you think duplicate content is one of the leading issues…?”
Andy Steggles:
“I think duplicate content is a huge issue … But, at least I know what the problem is so then at least I can now advise people when they upload content to ‘hey don’t just copy it from somewhere else, re-write it, make it unique’.”
Evidence Item 7: Adam Lasnik posts about duplicate content on the official Google Webmaster Central Blog:
“During our crawling and when serving search results, we try hard to index and show pages with distinct information. … In the rare cases in which we perceive that duplicate content may be shown with intent to manipulate our rankings and deceive our users, we'll also make appropriate adjustments in the indexing and ranking of the sites involved. However, we prefer to focus on filtering rather than ranking adjustments.”
“If you syndicate your content on other sites, make sure they include a link back to the original article on each syndicated article. Even with that, note that we'll always show the (unblocked) version we think is most appropriate for users in each given search, which may or may not be the version you'd prefer.”
Evidence Item 8: Highly respected SEO expert's comment on the duplicate content issue:
Brad Fallon's advice on duplicate content...
“Search engines look at pages in "sections" so changes that are not part of the "article body" will not count nearly as much. The more changes, the better. Private label articles will need close inspection by webmasters in the future. Articles that have only been changed a little bit will be picked up as duplicate content.”
William Slawski from SEObyTheSea.com posts about duplicate content issues and Search Engines...
“Some duplication of content may mean that pages are filtered at the time of serving of results by search engines, and there is no guarantee as to which version of a page will show in results and which versions won’t. Duplication of content may also mean that some sites and some pages aren’t indexed by search engines at all, or that a search engine crawling program will stop indexing all of the pages of a site because it finds too many copies of the same pages under different URLs.”
“When someone duplicates the content on your site, it may cause your pages to be filtered out of search results. … Searching for unique strings of text on your pages, in quotation marks, may help uncover them.”
“Many people create articles, and offer them to others as long as a link and attribution to the original source is made. The risk here is that the search engines may filter out the original article and show one of the syndicated copies.”
Nathan Anderson talks about the importance of unique content...
“Google already gauges for unique content. You won't get far in their rankings without it. Yahoo and MSN have more trouble distinguishing, but it's obvious that they're catching up. Really, it won't be possible in the future to rank well in the search engines with non-unique content. Do whatever you can to re-write non-unique content on your sites, or your traffic is in jeopardy.”
That's a lot of evidence and we could dig even further if we had the time, but to get back to the point: what does it all mean? ...
Does It Appear The Search Engines Really DO Care About Duplicate Content?
At The End Of The Day It's Up To You How You Interpret This Information, However... We Strongly Feel The Growing Evidence From Such Significant Sources Clearly Displays A Deep Concern The Search Engines Have Over Duplicate Content And Shows They Are Indeed Already Working Hard To Fight It.
Even some of the Pay-Per-Click advertising experts are stating that the Google AdWords quality score may even take in to consideration duplicate content found on the pages of your landing-pages website. So even for non-SEO sites duplicate content is potentially an issue.
The quantity and high level of evidence on duplicate content is hard to ignore.
At this point we'd like to ensure you we are not trying to strike fear as some lame attempt to get downloads of DupeFree Pro. Of course downloading our free software is the ultimate goal of this letter, however, we are actually trying to convey a very significant message about protecting the future of your online content investment.
In fact to demonstrate this we're also going to reveal the flip side of this coin.
A side which many marketers are too scared to tell you about when they are trying to sell you their duplicate content 'quick fix' products...
The Reasons Why Search Engines LIKE Duplicate Content!
Historically, the Search Engines took issue with duplicate content largely because of hard drive costs; indexing duplicate content would just waste precious disk space. However, these days hard drives are far cheaper and so hardware costs are less of an issue.
The central focus for filtering duplicate content has evolved to maintaining quality search results as opposed to just saving hard drive space.
What this means is the Search Engines are more willing to index duplicate content and in some cases are even happy to do so. However, the Search Engines fundamentally still don't like duplicate content, they simply recognize there is occasionally a time and a place for it.
So, when and why do the Search Engines 'like' duplicate content?...
- If visitors are looking for news on a specific site, the SE's sometimes want to show duplicate content in that situation.
- SE's also want to show regional preferences.
- Also, the SE's want to have redundancy, just in case one site goes down.
- And to a lesser extent the SE's are likely to accept more legitimate duplicate content such as:
- alternate document formats,
- legitimate syndication,
- multiple languages,
- and partial duplicate pages from boiler plate content (navigation, disclaimers, etc.)
In these instances duplicate content is seen to be acceptable, unfortunately however, the Search Engines still have a long way to go before being able to decipher types of duplicate content effectively. Duplicate content detection within search results is an extremely complex area and so even when the SE's get it right there will likely still be plenty of room for errors.
So sure, Search Engines may still index duplicate content but they won't rank it well or rather they will only rank the 'authoritative' duplicate page. Basically if you're duplicate content pages get indexed it doesn't mean they will rank well enough to get traffic, it just means the Search Engine knows about them.
In order to get traffic your duplicate content pages will need to be established as the authoritative source. But establishing your pages as the authoritative pages will be unpredictable left in the hands of the Search Engine bots.
Why leave your rankings up to the whim of fate?
Take control now and create content pages that will stand the test of time.
Build Your Virtual Real Estate On
A
Bed Of Rock NOT Quicksand.
Spammy auto-generated scraper sites were the big-thing for a short while. They were the easy way to make droves of cash with minimal effort; an ideal income solution for the lazy marketer. Literally anyone could do it with minimal knowledge and a spare hour or two.
It was bound to happen and sure enough the Search Engines got around to removing these sites from their search results and the scraper site gold rush came to an abrupt end. Many online 'businesses' when under in a matter of weeks - perhaps even days in some cases.
Inevitably, shortly after this bubble burst a lot of internet marketers were rushing to find the next way to generate traffic with minimal effort...
Roll in PLR content and article directory scraping.
(Side Note: If you are unfamiliar with PLR articles, the 'PLR' stands for 'Private Label Rights' and simply means you own the rights to do whatever you wish with your purchased item(s). Normally when you purchase PLR articles you share the exact same articles with a limited number of other buyers.)
These methods have quickly become the new way to mass generate sites but this time with supposed 'legitimate' and 'quality' content. Surely the Search Engines would be happy this time?!
Unfortunately NOT. The problem is, even if you manage to scrape together some decent content (which is challenging with the majority of PLR and article directory content) and actually built a useful website you would still be victim to a major issue... yep, Duplicate Content.
Right now it is unbelievably easy to end up with hundreds of sites filled with content that is exactly the same as on hundreds of other sites. Even big name marketers are pushing products that contain thousands of trash PLR articles and basic repetitive html templates - all identical and shared with hundreds of other marketers!
Once again 'scrapper site syndrome' will kick in and the minute the ground is next shaken these quick content sites will come tumbling down... down the SERP's that is!
So What Should YOU Do? ...
You Must Create Unique Content or
Make Existing Content Unique.
Option 1: If you have the budget get unique articles written for you by ghost writers.
We think this is and always will be the best way to get unique content. The problem is cost. Each article can cost anywhere from $10 to $20 and up. It gets pricey quickly and especially when you have a number of sites. Plus finding decent reliable writers who will create quality content in the $10 to $15 per article range is extremely hard.
Option 2: What about using the vast array of free articles online?
Unfortunately you can't rewrite the free articles available in the article directories, that is against their terms of service. You can try and make the page as a whole more unique by adding extra content around the article such as commentary and RSS feeds. This is something we've done in the past, and it does work but likely only for a short while longer.
It appears the technique of adding extra content to a page may now have a limited life span if the Search Engine duplicate content filter evidence previously presented is to come in to fruition (see the Google patent on looking at snippets instead of full pages).
Option 3: How about writing your own content yourself?
You could write your own content, but who realistically has the time to do that? If you are trying to run a business you cannot afford to get caught up in the labor intensive work.
Outsourcing is a fundamental part of business and something you must start as soon as you can afford it. But outsourcing takes us back to the problem of cost.
So to recap,...
Scrapping content is a NO,...
Writing your own content takes to long,...
Free articles are duplicates & adding extra content may have a limited life span,...
Outsourcing unique content may be too expensive.
So What Can You Do? ...
The Solution...... PLR ARTICLES - But Done The RIGHT Way!
You may be surprised at this because PLR is duplicate content (you're sharing it with many others). But the key to understanding the true potential of PLR content is in realizing that you own the rights and can do almost anything you wish with it. This is what makes PLR content so very powerful.
However, in order to make PLR articles worth your while you must re-write them and by that we mean *FULLY* re-write them.
Don't just re-write small sections or change a few words around. In the evidence section #5 the Google snippet patent indicates that potentially very soon content changed only in part will not pass the Search Engine duplicate content filters. This theory has already been supported by numerous others...
Tom Bell was a speaker at Yanik Silvers first Underground Marketing Seminar and here he talks about how to re-write PLR content properly...
“I have to tell you that the people who are only going to add a few generic sentences to the front and back of their private label articles are going to be in a world of hurt down the road.
All those rocket scientists over at Google and Yahoo will see right through it, a solution has to be AT LEAST as good as Copyscape or content site owners will be looking at wasting a ton of money building sites only to get penalized or even delisted, dangerous stuff man, they need to personalize the whole article, ALL of it...”
However, Yet Again We Face Another Problem.
Fully re-writing articles is still very time consuming. Fortunately though, there are quicker ways to get it done...
What About Automated Content Spinners?
You have probably been subjected the multitude of content spinner product launches over the past year or so. Each one claiming to be the next solution for push-button unique content.
If you haven't come across these tools before they essentially take an article and automatically swap around synonyms and/or other parts of an article thus 'spinning' it in to a unique piece of content. It's a nice idea but unfortunately the content produced is almost always unreadable drivel. Not exactly ideal when you're trying to build a relationship with your visitors.
There are a few content spinners that give you more control over the spinning process but you have to spend so long babysitting the procedure you may as well just re-write the articles yourself and get a much better result for little extra work.
Essentially these content spinners do not solve a problem, they merely create another and we suggest you don't waste your time with them.
From Our Experience There Is No Way To Re-Write
Articles *Quickly And Still Get Quality*
It's becoming increasingly important to think of the longevity of your websites. Churning out crap content just won't cut it anymore. You must think of your visitors as much as you think of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). If you do this and act on it all the hard work you put in will pay you back for much longer.
This boils down to re-working your PLR content in to valuable sources of information, NOT just re-wording them.
In order to do this efficiently you should outsource the re-writing process of your articles. You may think this leads back to the issue of cost and to an extent you would be right - but only partially right...
It has already been mentioned that it can cost $10 to $15 per original article and even more if they are well written with proper research carried out. Well, when you get PLR articles re-written by writers the perceived work load is far less and so they charge a lot less.
In fact we use ghost writers right now who re-write PLR articles for as little as just $4 to $5 per article!
This is an incredible price and way below half the cost of getting the same articles made from scratch!
However, This Is Only Part Of The Secret To Getting High Quality, Unique Content Made For Next To Nothing.
If you want your final unique articles to be of a truly high standard, and they really do need to be in order to stand the test of time, then your original PLR articles need to be of a very high standard to begin with. The quality of your original PLR articles depicts the quality of the re-written articles you get back from your writer. If you hand your writer crap your writer will hand 'warmed up' crap back to you.
You can't blame your writer for this. You haven't paid them to do extra research. You've paid them just to re-write an article.
This brings us to an unfortunately all to common issue which will not be news for anyone who has even just a little experience with PLR articles...
Most PLR articles sold today are of a VERY poor standard.
A site visitor who knows even just a little about the subject matter will spot the garbage content and hit the back button at lightning speed. Not good.
There is hope though because in amongst the muddy waters there are a few PLR article gold mines which provide articles of impeccable quality. We use a few select PLR sources week-in week-out for all our re-writes and we can't recommend them highly enough. (You'll discover these top PLR sources within your DupeFree Pro software download).
However, starting off with top quality PLR articles is just another step in the whole process for achieving extremely high quality unique articles for insanely low cost.
The re-written articles you have created need to be as different from from the original PLR articles as possible.
In the past loosely re-writing PLR articles has been expected to be enough to satisfy the Search Engines... Just change or add a few sentences, perhaps mix up the paragraphs and/or change round some words and you'd be alright. Your rankings and traffic would follow...
Right now this simple concept does still hold up in the Search Engines. However, with the building evidence towards Search Engines getting smarter on duplicate content the importance of FULLY re-writing your PLR articles is becoming increasingly critical if you want piece of mind that your sites will survive future Search Engine algorithm updates.
Which finally brings us to DupeFree Pro, The FREE software tool that can help you achieve effective PLR re-writes with total efficiency...
Accurately Measuring & Targeting
Article Similarity Is Key To Avoiding Duplicate
Content In Your PLR Article Re-Writes
If you have ever tried to manually compare two articles against each other for similarity you'll know just how painful and extremely time consuming it is.
In the beginning we did our re-write vs. original-PLR article comparisons manually and very quickly got to the point where we would just skim-read both the original and the re-write. The process was just too slow and boring so we got lazy. If at-a-glance the articles looked different enough we'd just upload them straight to our niche content sites and pay the writer...
We were to soon discover how BIG a mistake this was.
The problem with just skimming the articles is that we were letting an insane amount of duplicate content through.
After DupeFree Pro was developed we re-checked many of our articles with the software and to our horror found that our previous manual article similarity-checking was a complete waste of time. It was laughable how much duplicate content was still present in the re-writes.
We can't blame the writers for this because it is our job to check and 'OK' all articles.
The problem is that it is a complicated and messy process. Especially when coordinating with a writer via email all the various article sections that require further re-writing and doing so for multiple articles at once, many of which undergo repeat corrections. Not to mention that this 'email-tennis' is going on whilst the writer has other projects and deadlines to think about... In short working with your writer to get multiple FULL re-writes done isn't exactly a fluid process.
Then A “EUREKA” Moment Hit Us:
Send
A Copy
of DupeFree Pro To Your Writers!
That may seem obvious but this simple action resulted in huge implications...
If DupeFree Pro makes our job easier then should make a writers job easier?
Sending DupeFree Pro to our writers enabled them to also instantly see which sections of articles still need to be re-written without us needing to communicate with them at all.
No more need for email-tennis and headache inducing convoluted explanations - We now simply just send PLR articles over with a set of exact re-write requirements then wait for the re-writes to be returned. Our article/writer management time is a fraction of what it was which allows us to get on with the rest of our business.
DupeFree Pro even saves our writers so much time that they consistently make PLR re-writes that are 90% to 95% different from the original!
Whenever you use a writer for re-writes now just send them DupeFree Pro and tell them to use the software to get the similarity percentage below your requirement. You'll then get perfect rewrites back every time and can check them yourself in an instant with DupeFree Pro. If any articles remain unsatisfactory just tell your writer the titles of the articles that need further attention and using DupeFree Pro your writer can do the work without needing to know specifics.
The entire article re-write management process is made so much easier and efficient.
And get this... because your writers will now be able to create your PLR re-writes so much faster they may even be happy to carry out some extra research adding completely new and original content to your re-writes at no extra cost! This is quite a claim but we have achieved this with numerous writers - with DupeFree Pro in their hands their work load is made so much lighter.
With DupeFree Pro in your arsenal your websites can accomplish pure 100% unique content boasting well written informative content with additional research on top of the original PLR article and incredibly good writers often charge as little as $4-5!
Without DupeFree Pro achieving all this is backbreaking work & simply impractical.

OK, What Makes DupeFree Pro So Special?
*Customizable Visual Duplicate Content Detection*
At the heart of DupeFree Pro is the ability to target matching content and display it visually so you can quickly find and remove duplicate content over two articles. This duplicate content matching is the core and most powerful function of DupeFree Pro.
An example of the way DupeFree Pro makes duplicate content visual can be seen below:

"I have just started using my new Dupefree software, and have found it to be invaluable. I use a lot of PLR articles, and always do a complete re-write to avoid duplicate content.
However, even with the best of intentions, duplicate content sometimes gets through without me realising it.
This little tool will do all this checking for me, and the price - it's priceless"
What's more is DupeFree Pro has been designed to be flexible to your demands; moldable to your way of working and thinking. There are many software programs that lock you in to a set path. This is not the case with DupeFree Pro...
Duplicate content detection is a very gray science and nobody but the Search Engine boffin's can tell you *exactly* how they measure and deal with it. Even if they did tell you their methods they would continuously evolve anyway. So we can't tell you, and no one else can tell you with 100% certainty.
And that is why within DupeFree Pro you can set your own measurements for duplicate content detection allowing you to work to what YOU think is right. It's your content so you get the set the rules.
The ability to customize what DupeFree Pro considers duplicate content is also paramount to accommodate for the fast changes in SEO theory.
These are the controls in DupeFree Pro for setting your own duplicate content detection settings:
The control panel above also outputs the duplicate content percentage which you can use to gauge the overall similarity percentage of two articles. We usually get our writers to keep article similarity below 10% but to really try and aim for less than 5%. You'd be surprised how willing they are to go this far when they have software to help them achieve it in a timely manner.
*DupeFree Pro Helps You Combat Content Plagiarism*
Plagiarism is an unfortunate but inevitable problem online. After all, the internet is such a big place who is ever going to be able to police it all? This means it's left up to you to look after your own corner of the net.

"DupeFree Pro is a very powerful but simple tool to work with, for anyone looking to create new unique content from PLR articles.
It's a great bonus to be able to send the software to the ghostwriters doing my article re-writes. This saves a lot of time, because both the writer and myself can see 'exactly' how unique the articles are.
Great job!"
Unfortunately, when your content gets ripped off and ends up all over someone else's site its not just a copyright breach - their actions may also be damaging YOUR sites rankings.
You see, when that unscrupulous person makes a copy of your content they are effectively creating duplicates of your content. This has the potential to harm your rankings if the Search Engines are unable to accurately determine your site as the authoritative source for the content.
However, there are arguments against this theory that suggest this may not be the case. They say if it were true then it would be too easy to take out a competitors website. As per usual in SEO there are no truly concrete answers here and so this side of the argument may well be correct. Either way you really should embrace anything that helps minimize potential risk and so do what you can to combat plagiarism.
Finding copies of your content online is another time consuming and painful process. Fortunately DupeFree Pro can quickly locate copies of your articles online by carrying out 5 random sentence searches at the top three major Search Engines:

The results of the random sentence online check are output by DupeFree Pro for you in an easy to view format (example screenshot below). The results include hyperlinks to the searches performed so you can also check the search results out for yourself.

A very useful extra feature of the online duplicate content check is that you can manually select a section of text you want to force a check on causing DupeFree Pro to bypass the random 5 sentence check. This function is perfect for using on article titles if you want to quickly find out the Search Engine saturation of an article you've submitted to the article directories.
*Calculate LSI Relevance Density Automatically*
You may or may not be aware but the common keyword density percentage is now an obsolete SEO ranking method. This is due to a major evolutionary advancement in the Search Engine algorithms.
The Search Engine algorithms now implement what's called the 'Latent Semantic Index' also known as 'LSI'.
It is critical you write your content with the LSI algorithm in mind otherwise your rankings will be in jeopardy. If you start doing this now you will have an edge over the vast majority of your competitors.
If you are new to LSI strategies we highly reccomend you visit Charles Heflin's website SEO2020 to learn more about LSI.
Charles Heflin is the author of 'The Master Plan', the current definitive guide to LSI and advanced SEO strategies. Charles was actually teaching about LSI quite a while before it became common knowledge. We consider him to be at the forefront of these advanced SEO strategies. Check out his FREE LSI SEO tutorials to learn in detail about LSI.
How do you write content for the LSI algorithm?
You need to create content containing "expert verbiage" and terms that are "semantic" (mean the same as) with your target keyword phrase.
However, this is not a simple as just looking up a thesaurus and throwing in all the words found there. Search results work a little differently because they are geared towards human trends.
You have to find and use "Search Engine determined" synonyms.
Fortunately Google provides us with an easy way to find the terms they consider semantic.
All you have to do is perform a tilde "~" search at Google (i.e. ~golf) and note down all the Bold terms within the search results. These bold terms are the terms Google considers to be related to your searched term.
Here's an example for the phrase "golf shoes"...
Click here to see the tilde search results for "~golf"
Click here to see the tilde search results for "~shoes"
The BOLD terms in these search results show you would need to include the following words/phrases in your "golf shoes" article:
| ~Golf | ~Shoes |
| Golf |
shoes |
| Sports | Store |
| Country | boots |
| club | footwear |
| Golf's | Shoe Store |
| golfer | shoe |
| Country Club | sneakers |
| golfer's | feet |
| golfing | Shoes shoes |
Occasionally you may notice the search engines throw up some strange terms, but usually in one way or another they are related to your term. Perhaps not for your specific topic however (i.e. try a "~apple" search), so you must also use your own judgment as to which BOLD terms to include in your article.
The main point to note is that these terms are "Search Engine determined" synonyms NOT thesaurus determined.
We find that you usually need to go as far as the 100th result for each tilde search to ensure you collect most or all of the possible LSI synonyms.
This sounds simple enough right?
Well, imagine doing this for long tail keyword phrases containing four or five words for multiple articles spanning multiple websites then having to check all your final content contains the correct Search Engine determined synonyms with a good spread.
We've done this manually and it takes hours.
DupeFree Pro performs this process with 100% accuracy in a fraction of a second.
The screen shot below shows you what DupeFree Pro does at the click of a button...
